I can not sign a contract

Sorry for the delayed response and inconvenience caused. Please refer to the following KB articles which discuss the similar issue and scenario Adobe Acrobat DC electronic signature issues.

How do I sign a PDF with a certificate using Acrobat Reader DC? This works fine in Adobe Reader XI.

If the issue persists, please share the following details:

• Dot version of Adobe Reader DC installed, to identify please refer to Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC
• Are you not able to sign one specific PDF file or all the PDF file?
• Is it a Mac or Windows machine?
• Check if adding a digital signature with a certificate is allowed, navigate to eidt>properties>security> and check is signing is allowed?
