In the past i could open the acrobat reader and also open .pdf-files by double-click on the file icon.

Now all this is no longer possible.

I have deleted the adobe software and installed the new version. But without success.

After the restart my computer i get the same result: I can't open the acrobat reader.

If I click on the Icon "Acrobar Reader DC" then appears shortly the hourglass and not more. No error message.

Please how can help me?

Hi rubenw79481514,

Could you please try following troubleshooting steps?

If you have Windows OS installed on the machine, try locating Reader's shortcut on the desktop>right-click>Run as administrator.

For Mac, follow the steps under "Run the application in a minimized mode or from an administrator account' in this link:  Troubleshoot Mac OS 10.x system errors, freezes | Adobe software

Please confirm the version of Reader installed on the machine.

You may refer to this link for the same: Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

Which OS is installed on your computer?

Awaiting your response.
