I would like saved PDF's to remain open

Hi

Example -  when I saved bank receipts as a PDF they used to remain open on my desktop, but now they save & close. 

I thought I saw a tick box somewhere that was "remain open" or similar.  Now can't see that tick box anywhere.  HELP Pls. 

I work remotely using Adobe Acrobat X Professional. I have been working from home for 8 years so this is not the issue unless something has happened with an update. 

Using Windows 10.

For starers, yes, it's very likely that an update of Windows 10 can cause issues with Acrobat X, as the latter is not compatible with the former. However, I don't quite understand the issue. Are you saying that you open a PDF file in Acrobat and it closes on its own??
