Installing a very basic update to Win 10

I am a senior citizen who uses Adobe in the most basic way.  I have a new computer with Win 10 and just want to view files as i have done for many years.

    You need to go to Microsoft – Official Home Page for help with Windows 10

    View what kind of files?

    For PDF go to Reader downloads https://get.adobe.com/reader

    HOWEVER... do be aware that Microsoft has LOCKED Edge and Internet Explorer, so you may not update Reader in either of those two browsers, that is done ONLY be Microsoft
