Password sign in problem

I'm trying to retrieve insurance documents from an email on a new phone but am unable to as I am advised theseathese are password protected.

I enter a password which is common to all my accounts but this is rejected.

I thentry all other possible passwords but these are also rejected.

To access the community forum I use the common password which granted me access so that works but why will it not work to retrieve documents from email?
