PDF resizing when navigating between pages

Good day,

I am working with a large (900p+) document and use the Bookmarks links to navigate between pages/section. Every time I choose a new page/section the zoom resets to 66.4% irrespective of what I changed it to on the previous page. So on every navigation I have to reset the zoom as 66.4% is too small to read comfortably. This is very irritating. I tried changing the preference settings to set zoom but none work.

Can anyone help please?

    This is a setting of the links themselves. You can't change it with the free Reader, but you can use a stand-alone tool to do it, like this (paid-for) tool I've developed exactly for this purpose: Custom-made Adobe Scripts: Batch Edit Links Zoom Level
