Program shows error on startup

Program does allow me to save file.  Also it will not open any of the options such as export files, create pdf, etc.  I have removed and reloaded program numerous times. It still shows error "Unable to start correctly (0xc0000022)"

It opens the document, it will allow me to print, however I cannot save the document.  Adobe offers no tech support so hopefully someone here can help, otherwise I'm forced to try another software.  All this started after the last update a week ago.  Before that I've never had any trouble in the 10 years I've been using the software.

    Try to follow the steps given in the links below:

    Just DLd Reader DC. Now nothing will print. I also get Windows app error (0xc0000022) when ever I start Reader DC.

    Error 0xc0000022

    Please note: Disabling Protected Mode is for troubleshooting purpose only and not recommended, please turn the feature back on after finishing the troubleshooting.

    Could you please let me know the Operating System installed on the machine?

    What is the version of Acrobat Reader installed on the machine?

    Launch Reader>Help menu>About Adobe Reader DC

    In answer to your questions;

    My operating system is Windows 7

    I tried again to remove and re-install the software AND tried the auto repair but it still shows the error and will not allow me to save the document.

    Try to perform a Clean boot and see if that resolves the issue. Please visit this link on how to perform a Clean boot in Windows: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135  .

    Select Windows 7 under All Products and follow the instructions given on the page.
