I had Adobe Elements and was able to view and scan to pdfs.  It wasn't working properly so I uninstalled and then reinstalled the free version and it's still not allowing me to scan to pdf.

Please help.

    The PDF viewer (called Adobe Acrobat Reader) is just that. A pdf viewer. It's intended use is not PDF creation. I would suggest you get Elements back. There is no free version of Elements.
