I have a new laptop and installed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC however I'm not able to open the program or read pdf files. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You may want to try and completely remove Reader DC then reinstall.

    Uninstall using this tool: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

    Restart your computer then download and install Reader DC from this link: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

    What OS? How are you trying to open Reader and exactly what is happening?

    Windows 10 I downloaded the app to my laptop and have the icon on my desktop. The first time I tried to open a pdf file nothing happened. I then clicked on the desktop icon and again nothing happened. I tried to open as administrator and nothing.
