Why is it that the Adobe can read some PDFs and not others?

    Adobe should read almost ALL pdf files. There may be some that are created by third party pdf generators that aren't fully compliant that it won't open or display properly. Also, pdf's can get corrupted now and then.

    If you can tell us what steps you were taking to get and open a pdf and what exactly happens, maybe we can be more specific.
