Reply to Comment Issue

Hi, I faced a strange problem on Acrobat Standard 11. Tried on Acrobat DC Pro as well and problem is same.

Replying to a comment or annotation on Acrobat is pretty easy as described in the link below;

Problem is that not all off the tools under Annotations or Drawing Markups section has "Reply" feature. For instance "Sticky Note", "Highlight Text", "Strikethrough", "Draw Cloud", etc. have the ability to reply to comments but "Text Box", "Text Callout", "Text Comment" tools do not have reply feature.

Does anyone know why some commenting tools can reply but others can't?

Thanks for the reply.

I exported the annotations from a .pdf file into an .xfdf file and added a reply manually in the .xfdf file to an annotation that doesn't support reply. Then imported the .xfdf to same .pdf file and my reply is added under that annotation. It means all comment tools support reply feature but it is not implemented for some of them in the GUI.

I hope it will be corrected in future.
