Search Results showing as a thin horizontal bar in some windows

Hello! The problem is, I suspect, a resolution issue, but I'm not certain.

I create the document in Word, manuals and work instructions anywhere from 50 to a 1000 pages. They're password protected. Properties (Adobe Acrobat XI) are set to Navigation: "Bookmarks Panel" and Magnification: "Fit Page."

The manual is uploaded to the company's SharePoint and people make use accordingly, using Explorer, versions 9 - 11.

The problem is on SOME monitors or displays, not all, when they click the "binoculars" search icon and enter a word or phrase. The search works. We know this. The problem is, the search results are hidden. The Results window collapses into a tiny horizontal bar. Expanding the Navigation window does not work, nor does rebooting. I suspect it's a resolution issue, but we're not certain.

My laptop, for example - when it's only my laptop, the problem occurs. If my laptop is  projected in a ClickShare, it occurs. However, if it's a plug-in multiple monitors, or plug-in projection, the result window was expanded normally.

Solutions?
