I have downloaded Adobe Reader DC on my work computer, the Icon is on my desktop.

I want to use Adobe Reader DC for business and personal use. I have added a storage link to my Dropbox personal files.

When I launch the Acrobat Reader DC all of my files, business and personal are visible and accessible before signing in.

I would think that for security and privacy that no files would be visible until I signed into the Adobe Reader DC.

Which then prompts me to ask if all files are visible and accessible then why do I have to sign in?

    The sign in is for the Adobe Document Cloud only.
