Trouble updating/ uninstalling Acrobat Reader DC

Hi community,

As the title of my post says, I'm having a bit of a headache.

Currently using windows10, as up to date with updates as I can be.

I've tried using the cleaner tool from Adobe (it might be me) but it didnt help any matters.

Each time I try to uninstall the program to freshly install it again, I get a pop-up message stating "Uninstallation of the patch package is not supported" and I can't seem to get any further, any advice or am I stuck with a broken program?

I also get the same message, inside a installation pop-up, when I try open the program from the start menu .
