Upgrade Reader XI to Reader DC

I run Reader XI ver. 11.0.23 MUI on Win7 SP1 Pro (32 bit), quarterly updated, which is no longer supported.

Therefore I have to upgrade to Reader DC MUI (Feb. 2018), quarterly updated .

1. Should I uninstall Reader XI first and then clean install Reader DC, or install Reader DC over Reader XI?

2. Which Reader DC installation file should I choose to preserve compatibility with my earlier version of Reader XI?

    By the looks of Document Cloud Product Tracks — Enterprise Administration Guide you want the Classic track rather than the Continuous track which will download by default and which most people use, partly because it adds new features regularly. It seems to be MUI only and has quarterly updates you will schedule. (Note that if you are deploying for others you’ll need a redistribution license)

    You specifically want the MUI (multilanguage edition)?

    Still not sure what you mean. Reader XI has lots of features, so does Reader DC. I can't think of any important ones gone away. The user interface is redesigned and so you will need to relearn many tasks.

    Thanks for your answer. It sounds reassuring.

    To be more precise, I meant having at least the same set of important options in Reader DC, as in Reader XI (I can recall that e.g. in Reader 7 some of the important options, which I used in Reader 6, were missing).

    At present, I'm using the MUI version of Reader XI with quarterly updates. Could you tell me please which Reader DC installation file I should download from Adobe in order to have such a version.

    Finally, I'd also appreciate receiving answer to my question 1.
