Warning message about vulnerabilities in Acrobat.exe

Recently I'm getting a "threat Blocked" message from my antivirus & security software Trend Micro. it's closing the Acrobat App and message will read "Someone tried to exploit vulnerabilities in Acrobat.exe, and TM stopped the attack and Acrobat.exe for safety".I tried openning different PDF files and always same action as above. Is this a real threat, and require some patching from Acrobat, and how to do it ? or it's not and I can allow an exception on Trend Micro to avoid the continuos blocking of Acrobat.exe ?!
