Web openned pdf's default to 11x17 when printing

I have acrobat DC 2015 as well as most the people in our office. I have changed the default for printing to 8.5x11 and selected automatic tray and most every time we open a pdf document online it defaults to 11x17. Most people here forget to check properties before printing and they get 11x17. Really need some help here
