Suggest Autosave for Reader Scan

I was so pleased to see the scanner. I love the features. However, I have a suggestion,  can you create an Autosave feature.  I have had twice trying to scan a multipage document and "something" happened. I lost all the scans I had done and I had to start over. Twice. An Autosave would be so nice to allow a person to pickup where it cut off.

This feature would also hopefully allow scans to be appended to an existing document which would be fabulous!
