Hello.

How do I tell Acrobat DC to change the default page size to legal during Combine Files?  All my source files are legal but once they are combined they are converted to letter size.

Thanks!

Hi betsig250,

You could try this:

1-Press Windows key on your keyboard and type Distiller in the search and hit enter, when Distiller is open-Click Settings>Edit Adobe PDF settings.

2-Change the default page size to legal by typing 8.5 in Width and 14.0 in Height, click Save as

3- Go to C>users>your username>App data>Roaming>Adobe>Adobe PDF>Settings>Save(you can skip this if Adobe landed you on this location already).

If you can't see App data folder, press Windows + r key on keyboard>type control>File Explorer options>Under view tab>click "Show hidden files, folders, and drives>apply.

4-Open Acrobat Distiller again,Click settings>Add Adobe PDF settings.

5-Select the joboptions which you created and click open. Then try to combine files with the new settings.

Thanks!

Thanks for the input.  I just tried using this with the combine files and it still saves as 8.5 x 11.

Hi ,

If you are not able to print the pdf in legal size after applying these settings then it seems that its not working when combining files , you can use this link for feature request - Feature Request/Bug Report Form .

Thanks!
