How do I recover accessibility-related Adobe Plug-ins that disappeared after my last update?

Suddenly, some important plug-ins are missing from my Acrobat Pro XI. These include Acrobat Accessibility and Read Out Loud. They are listed as certified but not loaded. They were there before the last update/patch was installed. This is on a Mac running OSX version 10.7.5. How do I get them back?
