I have adobe acrobat 9 and now it says the licensing isn't valid anymore

Getting this error message. I was running my Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 successfully for a while, and now this keeps popping up. I have paid for the licensing, so I don't understand why I can't operate my program any longer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

What OS do you work on ?

If it is Mac,refer this ,Error: "Licensing has stopped working" | Mac OS

If on windows,refer the following link.

I ran that and it was successful, but it keeps telling me that it's a trial version, even though I have the serial number. My serial number is correct, but after I enter it, it prompts me to an upgrade check and says I have three days left to use the product. That doesn't make any sense why I can't use my acrobat 9 as is, without having to pay for an upgrade.
