How do I uninstall the trial version of Acrobat XI Pro?

I downloaded the trial version of Acrobat XI Pro whilst awaiting for Adobe to approve my serial number.  Adobe issued me a serial number and I was able to subsequently downoad the purchased product.  However, my computer defaults to the trial version, gives me reminders to purchase and time remaining on the trial.  I just want to unistall my trial  so that I can use the purchased product and not be reminded everytime I use acrobat that it is a trial version.
