Question

how do we just make a PDF file text sensitive/readable?

My question: it is straightforward to convert a PDF to a Word document, but I just wish to make it OCR readable - also, formerly, this had the advantage of somewhat "cleaning" and straightening a skewed scan. How can I?

There is a feature in Acrobat to run a OCR in the PDF file.

Open the PDF -> Go to Tool -> Text Recognition -> In This file.

Hey! Thanks.  Just to add to this, I finally realized I had to upgrade "twice" all the way to "PRO" in order to have that feature. This is why I could not see it before. Having done so now, it is easy as you just click on the "A - in this file" icon. Works perfectly.

    Regards as well!
