My acrobat 7 quit working and I cannot open any of my PDF's in my computer. I subscribed to this- thinking I will be able to open the PDF's on my desktop but I cant --and they are not recognized. How do I get my older PDF's to open?

Hi symea,

If you want to open PDF files, you need either Acrobat or the free Adobe Reader. You can download Reader from www.adobe.com/products/reader.html.

Please let us know if you have additional questions.

Thank you Sara, but really what I meant to say was, I have many PDF's on my desktop I wanted to make into "1" pdf (from multiple pdf's). I don't see this available. it only has "convert' a pdf. am I correct?  they already are PDF's.

Ah, gotcha! I see that you have Adobe PDF Pack, so yes, you can combine PDF files (up to 12 at a time). Log in to your account at https://cloud.acrobat.com and click Combine Files. Then, select Files to Combine, and select up to 12 files. If you need to combine more than 12 files, do them in batches, and then combine the combined files.

(There are some types of the PDF files that can't be combined, such as those that are password protected, or are part of a PDF portfolio.)

Best,

Sara
