How I will be able to edit a scanned document did I need to have installed first the PDF please let me know

    Hi Gardenia,

    To edit a PDF that was created from a scanned document, it's necessary to first perform Optical Character Recognition (OCR) on the file. You can do that with Acrobat, so you can either get a subscription to Acrobat from cloud.acrobat.com or you can download a free 30-day trial of Acrobat from www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html.

    And, if you want to convert the PDF file to a format that you can edit, such as Word, you can get a subscription to ExportPDF or PDF Pack (which includes ExportPDF). ExportPDF performs OCR by default when it converts PDF files.
