Appreciation of Fundamental Stock Image Elements

Sometimes I create images that are composites of very fundamental elements to the overall composition. Most get approved. However when I attempt to submit the individual elements making up a composition they get rejected as "not having aesthetic or commercial appeal". How can this be? Each element was critical to the composition of an approved image, yet by themselves Adobe fails to recognize them as valuable elements for creating a commercially viable stock image. I appreciated stock elements that allow me to utilize maximum imagination in creating unique and  new works of art.

I think Adobe short changes themselves and the artist when failing to recognize the value of very simple and basic image elements.

All great works are the aggregate of small well executed design elements.
