It is always astonishing how the regional national holidays here in Germany influence the sales of german/european suppliers of Adobe/Fotolia. Carnival in germany, regional holidays and the sales go down at my place. How could that be? Do we sell as suppliers from Germany/Europe only in Germany? German holidays do not apply to the whole of Europe and certainly not to the USA/Asia. So why do regional German holidays and also the regional holidays in some parts of Germany have such a clear influence on the sales of german suppliers at an international agency, I wonder. Carnival celebrations in Germany and declining sales? There is no other place in the world where carnival is being celebrated at the moment and there are no days free from work because of that. But the worldwide customers should still buy something, I guess.

Is the German/European contributer generally less in international demand or what could be the reason for this?

Hi,

February is not generally the weakest month in terms of sales for me.  This may not be the cause. To make the question even simpler: I am surprised that a regional holiday in Germany, for example, leads to a significant drop in sales on this day for me. My range of pictures is actually quite universal and internationally usable, I think, and should be sold steadily. But this is not the case, so what could be the reason?

February is a slow month in general. I sold only two images this  month so far and I contribute to 7 different agencies. The only time of the year i have such a low sales is on February. I’m not sure why
