Fotolia Exclusivity - what happens after transfer to Adobe Stock

Some of my images were sold exclusively on Fotolia - so, the customers bought them with the label "exclusive".

  • What happens after the transfer to Adobe Stock as there will be no "exclusive" label on those pictures any longer? how are the customers "protected" who bought them as exclusive images?
  • Or will all exclusive Fotolia images remain exclusive on Adobe Stock? If so, where could I see on Adobe Stock if a picture has the status exclusively offered?

Thanks for feedback!

Adobe Stock does not have an exclusivity program. The exclusive status at Fotolia did not provide an exclusive license the customer. Instead, a higher commission rate was paid based on the committment by the contributor to sell all content exclusively at Fotolia.

When Fotolia is closed, that incentive will be removed.

Kind regards,
