Image Rejected - Technical issues

This is my first image that has been rejected. Any feedback please as to why they rejected it on technical grounds?

The image is out of focus, but also you have chromatic aberration - here purple fringing around the edges of the trees:

It shows up a lot! Always zoom in to your images to look for various issues.

Have a read of this. It's a brief guide on image quality.

PS, I doubt this image will be accepted anyway due to the focusing problems!

I think that the most important reason is that the image seem to be out of focus.
