Keyword search does not seem to be working consistently on compound words

I have many images where I use "Blue Ridge" as a compound keyword, and it works just fine when searching for images.    I also use "North Carolina" as a single key word and it does not appear work at all.  I can search for one of my images and see it in the results, but if I then add North Carolina as an additional search word, my image no longer shows up even though "North Carolina" is one of my keywords.   Is "North Carolina" not a compound word?  If not, how would I know this?

I did a search from within your portfolio and found two pages of results when I typed "North Carolina" in the search field. It seems to be working fine. Is there a specific image that isn't showing up you are concerned about? Check to make sure you don't have your search filters to show only vectors or videos as that may be affecting your search results.

Hello. Well, this is an interesting question. Not only will it look like a compound word but it is also the legal name of a geographic place. If the state says it is two words and the grammar checker says it is not, you will get two different answers. It will depend upon which is in control of the search engine. Honestly, I think you can not find a single perfect workable answer with so many filters out there. Maybe just use which one works. Let's hope the translation filter accepts either. Your word program also has its preference helping out - check how your preference for compound words is set. Best regards, JH
