Please help with why this was rejected?

Hello,

could anyone help me to understand why this photo was rejected?

The reason is - "Unfortunately, during our review we found that it contains one or more technical issues, so we can't accept it into our collection."

Hi Elena,

Your image has excessive noise. The technical issue however, is a white halo around the image.

You need to use a photo editor to view your images at 100 to 200% magnification to see flaws that needs correcting, and make the correction, before uploading.

    Hi

    I am not one of the team who assesses the images but from my own view I see two issues.

    1. The image is under exposed

    2. There is a visible halo around the bird

      You also have a problem with colour temperature- white balance - the image needs to be warmed up a bit - add a bit more yellow. This picture is too cold. E.g. (After exposure and white balance.)

      You also have a problem with noise  - it can be seen in the sky.

      It is 'grainy'.
