Organizing artboards: the "choose destination" in prototype mode not reflecting my order!

I'm working on a site that has ~ 50 artboards so far. I keep them organized by section in the left Layers tab. However, when I am trying to wire things together in prototype mode, the Artboard Dropdown does not reflect this order –frankly, it's chaotic . –Finding the right board to connect isn't as easy as it should be!

Is there a better way to do this that I'm not thinking of?

Hi Catswan,

If I understand the situation correctly, you have approx 50 artboards and the sequence you are getting in the dropdown is not similar to what you have in the layers panel. I would like to inform you that the destination drop-down shows the artboard as they are organized from the top left to bottom right of your workspace as shown in the figure below.

Hope this helps you to decide the order that you wish to organize your artboard and then assign the wires.

Please update this discussion in case you need further assistance with this.

Thanks,

Can you provide a screenshot of your workspace for me to reproduce your issue? I am unable to recreate this issue at my end - it is possible that I am missing out on a scenario.

Thanks,
