3D Shape layers aren't accepting spot, point or parallel lights

Hello All!

This is a weird situation and I'm honestly wondering if it's even a bug or I am doing something wrong.

I have a shape that is 3D in my composition. I have the spotlight pointing directly at the shape in 3D space, but it does not display the light having any effect on it. The shape is completely black.

Am I missing something here? I've used 3D shape layers tons of times before, which makes me think this is a bug.

Hi @Abstract Black,

The Falloff Distance for the light looks like it might be too low to show up with the Falloff set to Smooth. Increase the Falloff Distance or switch the Falloff to None. Does that allow the light to show up on the Shape layer?

Cheers,
