After Effects freeze while collecting files

Not able to collect file as it is getting hang whenever i try to collect the file

If your computer isn't a Mac with an M1 chip, how large is your project file? That is, do you have a TON of assets imported into it?

Model Name: Apple T2 Security Chip

Mac version: MacOs Monterey

Ae version: 22.4.0 (Build 56)

 

even with a single asset, I am not able to make dependencies, the moment i try to collect the file, ae gets freeze and i have to force quit the file

Are you on an M1 machine? We're aware of a similar issue that is specific to M1. The After Effects product team is working on a fix. Sorry for the trouble.
