Aftereffects not rendering same as the preview

Hello, I was working on this project and after trying to render it, I realised the pre-composition for the type animation was not showing up in the final render, I tried rendering it in after effects and adding it to the media encoder and still nothing seems to help. I am not sure where the issue is, mind you that I recently updated the program to the 23.1 version not sure if that is the problem. I tried purging the cache nothing really changed. The operating system I am using it with is macOS Big Sur Version 11.7 not sure if it is a compatibility issue with the render engine or something else as it worked fine before the update.

I tried to play around the wave warp effect it seems that the antialiasing was causing this, the problem happens when I have it at high but works if i switch to medium, not sure what that means but it seems to work now, thank you so much for your help!

Turn off hardware acceleration in the prefs by switching to software-only rendering. Apparently your Mac isn't up to par in that department.

I tried that but nothing seems to change so I decided to downgrade to the previous version I had of after effects but I realized that it seems that it is not the motion tile effect that is causing the issue but rather the wave warp when I turned it off the type shows in the render now

That's a cool looking cat.

Is the layer that's not showing up set as a Guide Layer?  If so, that will not render and needs Guide Layer to be disabled.

Thank You!

Unfortunately no I checked whether I accidently made it a guide layer but it isn't

Have you tried pre-composing your background as a whole? Possibly your combination of displacement mapping and motion tile causes some weird behavior. Also start by checking your work at 100% zoom and full resolution. Your comp is quite large and viewing it at quarter resolution could be obfuscating any serious issues.

Thank you, I tried precomposing the two layers together but the problem still seems to presist. I did try the 100% and full resolution and you were right the problem shows in the preview when it is at full resolution, not sure what the cause of it is though.

I did try uninstalling and reinstalling the program and i noticed that it was displaying this warning i attached at the startup, not sure if that could be the cause.
