Cinema 4D exporting issues.

Hey guys!
Pretty new to Cinema 4D, but basically I just wanted to convert a fbx file to obj, but when I click export it doesn't show me any options, it says "empty" I've even tried a simple sphere on a new project but it won't let me export in any format.
please help

Your post doesn't make much sense if you don't provide proper system information, version info, screenshots. If something that basic doesn't work, then something isseriously wrong or you're employing a completely wrong workflow.
