Crash when trying to use anything that is connected to cinema 4d

Question

I'm on an M1 Max Macbook with After Effects 2022.If I try to use the cineware effect or import a .c4d file, After Effects immediatly crashes completely. Has anyone else experienced this?

What's the exact version of After Effects you're using? Do you see any crash reports? Also, what's the version of macOS you're using?
