Just delete it from /Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore/ and the error should go away. Likely an old version that is not compatible anymore. New versions available from Maxon One app https://www.maxon.net/en/downloads

You can get the installer here. It works as a demo mode if you do not activate the license.

Hi Anwar5F99,

Welcome to the community and sorry for your issue.

What happens when you click OK - does that let you use After Effects or it closes? What's the version of After Effects you're using? Also, did ShiveringCactus's suggestion help?

Let us know.

Thanks,

Nishu

Looks like there is an issue with Red Giant's SuperComp helper plugin.  Can you uninstall that using their application manager and see if AE opens.  If that solves the problem, you could try reinstalling the plugin, but if you get the same issue, you'll need to contact Red Giant support. They are pretty responsive and nice too.
