Hi! My after effects will not open and a notification pops up saying "error loading sapphire...because file does not exist please reinstall sapphire to fix this problem." I then have to force quit ae because it will not quick by itself. What should I do?

If Mylenium's suggestion doesn't help, try uninstalling the plug-in and remove corresponding files from the plug-ins folder. Try to launch After Effects. If it does, try reinstalling the plug-in.

Impossible to know anything since you have not offered any system information or other technical details. under the assumption that this is actually a fluke one would have to assume that it boils down to mundane file access issues, so start by checking user permissions on the relevant folders and all that stuff. Anything beyond that will require much better information.
