First tutorial render doesn't open!

Just did the first tutorial in AE 2021 (APEAK_Logo) and the .mov export won't play in Quicktime (??!) I mean, really? I get this error message.

Just figured it out - After some Googling, found that I needed to change the codec from Animation to Apple ProRes 4444. Pretty dumb for the tutorial not to be able to sniff out my system and know that renders wouldn't work unless I switched this settings, I mean, it's the very first welcome tutorial. Ahhh, Adobe.

Hiii I am having this problem having started on AE today.

I have read other forums posts with this same solution - however, I do not know who/what/where is 'codec' and I can't see Apple proRes 4444 anywhere... how do I get to that point?! Thanks!

So far I have been going to Edit\Template\Output Module... then what's next?
