How to disable "software only processing" option n After Effects?

Using After Effects my computer had "high power usage" and "GPU maxed" and gave me the option to "enable software processing only". So l clicked the button and now NOTHING plays!! How do I undo this option??

I'm using an MSI gaming laptop, with NVidiaRTX 2060. I have only 30% RAM in use when not using Adobe, only 25% of my storage is in use.

You can change those options in the preferences panel, though from what you describe it sounds like you have some serious underlying configuration issues and may need to spend some time to straighten out your graphics driver and settings.

Thanks, found the option in preferences! But not enough RAM. No easy fix
for that on my laptop! 😞
