How to smooth out or soften harsh lines in footage

Hello!

I was hoping someone could give me some tips on how to smooth out some harsh lines in my after effects composition. I have created a scene from c4d which includes two very angular reflective mirrors reflecting back a moving object. the mirrors have a very harsh edge and light interaction on the floor making the scene look less realistic. because the mirrors are reflecting back the moving object i am finding it tricky to use hacks such as masking and content aware fill. I have attached below an image of what I am trying to eliminate as well as the after effects file.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately your project file has no assets so is of no use.

I agree with Shivering Cactus above, that a quick fix would be to simply smear or blur the pixels at the join of the two mirrored planes, using an adjustment layer with a blur of some sort, or wire removal along the edge itself.

Could you add a compositing tag in Cinema4D for the floor to make it not visible to reflections?

If you can't and have to use After Effects, then maybe the simple wire removal effect can help to blend the edge.
