Question

importing png or jpg sequence

When I try to import a png or jpg sequence I get a 39:44 error.

I tried all variations - forcing akphabetical order, changing the naming of the images, but nothing works. This has been the case since 2021!

The images are not corrupted - I can drag them manually into the menu, but of course it's a crazy process to have to do on each sequence...

I'm working on a mac.

Help! thanks...

Without any system info and details such as storage location of the files, number of files per sequence and so on we can't tell you much. There used to be notable bugs in this in OS X due to switching libraries for JPEG and PNG handling both in the system itself and in Adobe apps, but those should long have been fixed. Otherwise I'm not aware of any such obvious misbehavior, so soemthing specific must be going on on your system.

Hey Wylenium,

thanks for the reply. I'm using the perhaps latest OS update  - Monterey 12.5.1, working on a macbook pro mid. 2015.

Image sequence is simply saved on my mac and contains 255 images.
