MAJOR TYPING LAG IN PROJECT SEARCH BAR

Hello-

Lately any time I type in the search bar of the Project panel, there is a major lag.  It takes ten seconds for the typing to catch up, during which it has already started guessing what I'm typing, which seems to slow it down even more.

I don't notice any similar issues anywhere else in the application.

(If any more info is needed about the project, I'm happy to provide it, and I'll be grateful if it could be requested with a minimum of condescention.)
