Hello! I've got an issue with the pick whip tool. I have A square that is animated by the scale. Inside it is an icon animated by opacity, rotation, and scale. When I parent the icon to the square, the icon deforms in a strange way while the animation of the square. I attached a video as an example. So what do I do wrong?

The child layers inherit all of the Transform properties of the Parent layer. You'll need to pick which properties you want to mimic and use the Switches/Layer column (Shift + F4) to create expressions that copy the rotation property, and you will need to make sure that the anchor points line up.

Hey Candy_max,

It could be that the scale properties of the square affect your icon's shape. I would suggest parenting the opacity and rotation properties individually to check if you still see the change in shape. If so, please animate the scale properties separately.

Thanks,
