Solid Layer & Logo Behind

In this composition panel solid layer is in front and Logo is in behind. But you can see the logo of a faded image. If I move the logo in front of the solid layer I can see it clearly. Video is attached.

 

Issue is in the tutorial you cannot see what is behind the solid layer. Only moving front you can see the logo.

 

What is the reason for this?

The solid layer has a blend mode applied. When troubleshooting problems, start by pressing the U key twice, then reveal both the switches and modes column in the Timeline by activating the first two icons in the bottom left corner of the Timeline panel.

    The Search Help field in the top right corner of After Effects is your best friend. Type 'blend mode' there and you will get this information: Blend Mode
