Some Footage Staying On One Frame (NEED MAJOR HELP)

I have a major issue in After Effects cc 2018

Basically, when I import some clips, they work perfectly fine, others, however, (even after being fully rendered) freeze on one frame for the entire duration of the clip. I even switched laptops to see if that was the issue, and nothing seemed to work

In addition, on my clips that do happen to work, the end of the clip freezes, I also have not been able to figure out this problem

The way I import clips:

I edit movies, so I downloaded a movie from MEGA, and then imported the movie to my camera roll (on my phone) then I cut them up, and put them onto my PC via USB.

I tried to see if the way I was importing the clips was the issue (even though that doesn't seem to be the case, since some clips work and others dont from the same place)

I am in desperate need of help, I have tried everything.

Computer: Acer Nitro 5 (I just bought it today to see if it would work better with AE) with 8GB of RAM

Impossible to know. You have not provided any exact technical specs of the movie files nor any other info. I don't even know what "MEGA" is supposed to be plus if you already mess around with the files on some mobile app, this means that they already get re-encoded somehow. You need to be much more specific and explain better.

My apologies for not clarifying my post.

My movie files are MOV files (.MOV) the frame width is 1920 while the height is 808 (for every clip) and each clip is no longer than 7 seconds (most clips ranging between 2 and 4 seconds.

Also, MEGA is a cloud storage service, so, if I have a video or photo I want to put on there I simply transfer over the files and it saves to both my computer and my phone, once its saved, I click download on my laptop and it saves to the PC.

But the method I am trying now is to plug in my phone via USB and use the photos app on my computer (from Microsoft) to import my desired videos directly to my laptop.

I am not too keen regarding video files and such, so please do point out any errors I have made. I am sorry for not explaining better.
