the layer becomes invisible and cannot be moved

Hello!

I dragged audio tracks into my timeline, they were visible and normal, but after about an hour of editing the actual layer bar disappeared and I can't move it. The waveform is visible and is audible. Restarting doesn't fix.

    Upd: after a while, the layers appeared on their own. What could be causing this and how can it be avoided?

    Dana, this is the Animate forum.

    You seem to be using After Effects, if I'm not mistaken.

    Try to ask in the AE forum.
