Please help!

I am unable to import mp4 files to my After Effects and had to convert it to .mov for import. This error message always show up when I import mp4 files to my Ae. This not happened in others machine with same file.even though this had not happened beforewhereas it didn't happen beforewhereas it didn't happen before

Were you able to find a way to overcome this? I'm in the same situation and I've tired uninstalling and updating everything several times.

Without any info about the source file such as how it was created/ where it originated, its specs and so on nobody can tell you much. Could simply be a very specific MP4 sub-format such as game captures create it for instance and then of course it may not work on a Mac because the CoDecs are only running on PC.
