Unable to use extensions in after effects after name change

Hi, 
After my extension name transfer users are unable to use the extension, because it doesn't appear anymore when they navigate to window > extensions > WPP Open.DC AE template plugin. 

How can we fix this?
We already cleared the cep_cache folder and uninstalled the extension, but it didn't solve the issue.
